Poor Eileen Wright

Eileen Wright, our one legged Solomon Island Eclectus bird has not been feeling well the past couple of days, not eating and most significantly not so vocal. We called up her vet and she suggested we bring her in - poor little girl. After finding out that she had gained 75 grams and that she needs to go on a diet, the vet decided to do an X-rays. Turns out Eileen is preggers - well it’s not a fertile egg but I can certainly see why she is not feeling up to par - that's a big egg! Here are some photos I took with my iphone of the ordeal. Within 24 hours we will be proud parents of a non-fertile egg – cheers!
